Ok, when it was first announced, I must admit, I was skeptical that this would come to fruition. I mean come on, was this really a realistic move?  Well here it is:

I do think the move is brilliant on the part of Michael Arrington and TechCrunch. I mean come on, they’re a media company, doing journalism – for them to deliver on an idea for a device is impressive in its own right, regardless of whether it’s going to be successful or not.  In any case, here it is, working and probably hitting shelves in a few months based on how the development has been coming along.  My hat is off to them – it’s a great endeavor and I wish them luck with it – at $200, I’ll probably be coerced into getting one to check out:
