A Weekend for Awesome Talks from TED May 15, 2009
I’m headed to the Bay Area this weekend to see Aimee’s family and have a little engagement party shindig, so I thought I’d share a few of the excellent talks from the TED conference that I consider inspiring and if nothing else, totally interesting. The first one is the famous Malcolm Gladwell ’spaghetti sauce’ talk where Mr. Gladwell uses the food industry as an example of the human condition that is choice and happiness with our choices. The talk is totally entertaining and excellent:
Now, if you haven’t had enough yet, check out Seth Godin’s talk from this past years conference. It’s totally interesting and relevant to pretty much anyone – talking about the Internet and its impact on the larger marketing community through the development of tribes and the need to create change:
Finally, if you’re still here, check out Majora Carter’s passion for urban renewal, another excellent talk. Green is the new black!
