As I’m sure you’ve heard by now, Amazon acquired internet shoe and clothing retailer Zappos.com for over $900 million late last week. This is obviously a great exit for Zappos and a seemingly excellent purchase for Amazon. Wall Street liked the purchase as well, as Amazon’s stock jumped almost $5 on Thursday when the news came in. This purchase is the latest in what has been many over the years for Jeff Bezos’ company. For some of the others, take a look at the graphic below.
